Aetna Traditional (PPO)

Emory realizes that good dental health
begins with routine preventive care. To this end,

services received by either In- or Out-of-Network
providers are covered by the plan at 100% up
to reasonable and customary.

Some examples of routine preventive care include:
– Oral examinations
– Routine cleanings and polishing
– Fluoride
– Sealants (permanent molars only)
– Bitewing X-rays
– Full Mouth Series X-Rays
– Space Maintainers

Deep Cleaning (full mouth debridement, CPT 4355) is covered under preventive services as a replacement for one of your routine
cleanings once in a 24 month period of time.
