Emory provides Term Life Insurance for all eligible Medical House Staff, eligible spouses and unmarried dependent children between the age of 15 days through the age of 26. Emory pays for this coverage.
Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance
Emory provides Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance for all eligible Medical House Staff. Emory pays for this coverage.
This insurance pays a benefit in the event of a loss of life, loss of the use of more than one member, or the loss of sight in both eyes. A member is defined as one arm, hand, or foot. Loss of sight means legal blindness. One-half of the full benefit amount is payable for loss of the use of one member or the loss of sight in one eye. The loss must be irrecoverable.
