Emory Healthcare Partners with CVS MinuteClinic

Emory Healthcare is partnering with Atlanta CVS MinuteClinic locations. The locations will be co-branded and staffed by nurse practitioners with Emory physicians serving as medical directors. Emory employees and their dependents covered under an Emory medical plan who receive services from a CVS MinuteClinic will receive the same benefits they would at an Aetna in-Network primary care physician. Workplace Flexibility Survey: October 31- November 11, 2011

The Emory WorkLife Resource Center, in partnership with the Office of Institutional Research, is conducting a campus-wide survey of Emory staff on the topic of Workplace Flexibility. Tobacco Surcharge Coming for 2012

Starting Jan. 1, 2012, Emory University will implement a $50 per person monthly surcharge on medical contributions for faculty and staff and their covered Spouses/Same Sex Domestic Partners (SSDPs) who use tobacco products. Read More.

PeopleSoft HR Self Service Upgrade

 

  • What will be different as a result of the upgrade? As of August 1, the upgrade will be complete and you will notice a few changes and improvements to self service:
    • New look and feel. There will be a slight difference in the look and feel of self service; for example, the navigation menu will be displayed horizontally across the top of the web page rather than appear on the left hand side.
    • New look for paychecks. Paychecks will now be available as a one-page, printable pdf making it easier for you to provide paperwork when applying for mortgages, loans, etc. The new version will also provide accumulative YTD (Year to Date) data, including leave balances for biweekly paid employees. Paychecks created prior to the update will still be presented in the old format.
    • New Feature - My Profile. A new self service feature, My Profile, will allow you to view and update your education (degrees), licenses and certifications, memberships, and honors and awards.
    • Internet Browser Requirements. The following browsers are certified to work with PeopleSoft Version 9.1: Firefox 3.6, Internet Explorer 7, Internet Explorer 8, Safari 3, Safari 4, and Safari 5. As of August 1, if you are not using one of these browsers to access the Internet, you will not be able to access self service through PeopleSoft.

WorkLife Offers Back to School Workshops

The Emory WorkLife Resource Center will be hosting its annual Back to School campaign throughout the month of July. The campaign will include web articles to help parents transition their children back to school this fall as well as three free informational workshops for employees. Employees are invited to bring a guest or their high school aged children if appropriate. Workshop seating is limited and registration is required. Learn more….
