Sexual Harassment and Sexual Misconduct Training
Emory’s Office of Equal Opportunity Programs recently revised and republished the Equal Opportunity and Discriminatory Harassment Policy to comply with federal guidelines. To educate Emory’s faculty and staff on the University’s policies and procedures for preventing sexual harassment and sexual misconduct, the office is now offering a one hour training session, Creating an Environment of Courtesy and Respect. This course is open to all faculty and staff and attendance is strongly encouraged.
Participants will be given an easy-to-remember behavioral model that defines when and how conduct, behavior, and performance are governed by organizational policy and the law. Participants will also have the opportunity to analyze and discuss realistic workplace scenarios and engage in interactive exercises. Please encourage your faculty and staff to attend.
