It’s America Saves Week
Although EVERY day is a great day to think about your savings goals, America Saves Week (February 25 through March 1) is a good time to review your current retirement savings plan and make sure you’re on track to meet your goals. Use these resources to help you understand your options so you can build a better savings plan:
- For this week, Fidelity has increased the number of live, presenter-led workshops that will be offered online. With these workshops, you will learn about saving for your future, how to determine your savings needs, and what tools are available to help you become a more educated investor. To register, log on to http://webworkshops.fidelity.com. (Pre-recorded versions of all workshops are also available on this website).
- Vanguard and TIAA-CREF also offer online workshops at www.Vanguard.com (go to Education and News when you log on) and www.Tiaa-Cref.org/emory (go to Tools and Education at the top of the page).
- Schedule a one-on-one counseling session with Fidelity, Vanguard or TIAA-CREF to find out how to build your savings plan and overcome hurdles that may be preventing you from reaching your savings goals.
- Attend one of Emory’s financial education workshops, Finance Matters, offered by the WorkLife Resource Center. These workshops cover a variety of financial topics from retirement savings, taxes, and investing to wills and estate planning. Learn more and register.
