Learning Services Offering More for Less
Learning Services provides Emory employees an opportunity to enhance their professional development. This year, that opportunity has become more affordable.
After the administrative review, Learning Services is now able to offer its popular development programs at a reduced cost:
Management Development Program (MDP)
Cost: $500 (reduced from $900)
MDP is ideal for individuals who have been hired or recently promoted to a management role within the last year (e.g. current managers, assistant/associate directors, and directors).
Supervisor Development Program (SDP)
Cost: $500 (reduced from $900)
SDP is ideal for individuals who have been hired or recently promoted to a role with supervisory responsibilities (e.g. new supervisors or managers, current supervisors, team leaders, program coordinators).
Administrative Professionals Program (APP)
Cost: $300 (reduced from $600)
APP is ideals for any full-time employee of Emory University in an administrative role (e.g. Administrative Assistant, Program Coordinator, Secretary, etc.).
Deadline for applications for the above programs is March 26, 2010.
In addition to reducing the costs of programs, Learning Services is offering some programs for free, including Business of Higher Education, a new program designed to help attendees learn the organizational structure, governance and contemporary issues in higher education from senior Emory leaders.
