CHALLENGE & CHAMPIONS, sponsored by the Division of Educational Studies and the Laney Graduate School, is holding its 8th annual summer program for rising 6th -8th grade students from June 20th to July 8th. C&C offers adolescents enrichment academics, athletics, leadership, learning strategies and study skills.
Research studies show that youth in this age group benefit immensely from integrated learning experiences during this phase of their lives. Enrollment is capped at 65 students to keep the staff to student ratio at 2:1. Classes are held on campus from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Parents can take advantage of early drop off and late pick up at no extra charge. Participants have access to university resources and are mentored by outstanding undergraduates. They are taught by the best teachers in the metro area, are exposed to guest speakers and field trips on campus.
