The Executive MPH (EMPH) program is the distance-based MPH at the Rollins School of Public Health (RSPH) designed specifically for working professionals. Utilizing a blended format, students in the Executive MPH program attend on-campus long weekends (Fri-Sat-Sun) at the Emory campus at the beginning and end of each semester. All course work between these on-campus weekends is facilitated by the Blackboard course management system.
The EMPH program welcomes non-degree seeking students (students in Special Standing) who meet the following criteria: 1) individuals must be working professionals with a minimum of 3 years of experience; 2) individuals must have the appropriate pre-requisites for the course(s) in which they will enroll; 3) individuals must have taken the EMPH program's online orientation prior to participation in EMPH courses; and 4) there must be room available in the desired course(s). In order to be a student in Special Standing, an individual must follow the procedures outlined by the Rollins School of Public Health (http://www.sph.emory.edu/academic_programs/nondegree_programs/special_standing.html).
