What’s New and Healthy at Emory?
Emory Dining continues to enhance the Emory community’s dining experience by implementing sustainable practices, supporting local brands, providing a wide variety of dining locations and hours of service, and expanding healthy offerings.
Healthy options are available at all of Emory’s dining locations. Pasta John’s, located in Cox Hall, serves up pasta creations including whole wheat and gluten free varieties. Freshens, also located in Cox Hall, has a new menu featuring rice bowls, crepes, and salad bowls as well as self-serve yogurt to help control portion size. Peet’s Coffee and Tea, which opened this fall in the library, features gourmet salads and sandwiches, as well as freshly baked goods from Highland Bakery. Highland Bakery, located next to the Goizueta Business School, has “On the Light Side” menu, showcasing their healthier offerings. The new Eagle Convenience and Subs, open seven days a week, is located on the first floor of the DUC, where you can grab a few quick groceries, a healthy snack, or a Boar’s Head Sub.
Cox Hall Deli, Dobbs Market Deli, and Eagle Convenience and Subs all serve Boar’s Head meats and cheeses and use H & F Bread, which is baked fresh daily.
Dobbs Market is also a wonderful location to enjoy any meal. With over seven stations to choose from, including the salad bar packed with variety, vegan station, gluten-free station, and the grill, which features fresh veggies and grilled chicken daily, you are sure to find a yummy dish.
