2019 Summer Internship Program
Emory’s Summer Internship program, facilitated by Human Resources, offers college students who are in the middle of their academic careers a unique opportunity to gain valuable, hands-on experience in the day-to-day operations of Emory University or Emory Healthcare. Designed to last ten weeks (June 3- August 9, 2019), with an option for departments to extend up to twelve weeks (August 23, 2019), each department will need to establish learning objectives for their selected intern and evaluate him/her twice during the program. Performance Management Reminder – Mid Year Reviews Due March 2
The performance management process is approaching mid-year. Please prepare now for your mid-year review(s).

  • The mid-year is very easy to complete. Scores/comments are not required except for overall.  Just share what you can where appropriate for this point in time.

  • The worst thing you can do is not give/receive any feedback!  Some feedback is better than none. Research shows that no feedback produces a much less engaged workforce than feedback that is only critical.  Of course, the best approach is to provide both positive and constructive feedback.

  • The mid-year is optional, but highly recommended.

  • Log in and update your mid-year review form(s).  Mid-year forms are due by March 2nd.

Need help? If you would like to learn more about the Performance Management system, we have online help available:
