Conversations on the Quad Debuts Thursday
The Office of Emory University President Claire E. Sterk has announced a new series, “Conversations on the Quad,” which will debut Thursday, April 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Quadrangle. All students, faculty and staff are welcome to drop by at any time during the event, which will include a welcome from the president at noon and a keynote “conversation starter” delivered by Robert M. Franklin, the James T. and Berta R. Laney Professor in Moral Leadership. Learn more. |

Emory Celebrates National Walking Day this Wednesday!
This annual event is a call-to-action to increase physical activity by starting with a 30-minute walk during the workday to promote physical activity and well-being. Each year, Emory University and Emory Healthcare employees participate in organized walks on Emory’s campuses, joining thousands of others across the country who walk on this American Heart Association sponsored day.
Emory will partner with Big Peach Running Company and Big Peach Outreach to coordinate sneaker donations and recycling opportunities at select Emory locations. Last year Emory employees donated over 200 pairs of shoes! Each employee who attends a walk, and donates sneakers on National Walking Day will receive a chance to win some great prizes, including one of three $100 Gift cards from Big Peach Running Company!
