Award of Distinction Nominations Now Open
Nominations are currently being accepted for Emory University's Award of Distinction Program. Each year, the program recognizes approximately 10-15 university staff employees who have made outstanding contributions to the Emory Community through their initiative, innovation and leadership. Nomination eligibility includes: all regular, full- and part-time staff who have been employed for at least one year. Previous awardees are eligible for nominations. Honorees are recognized at a special dinner and also receive a $1,000 award. The submission deadline is August 30, 2018. Learn more about the nomination process here. |

Healthy Emory Connect Site and Mobile Security Updates
Virgin Pulse has made additional security updates to the Healthy Emory Connect internet and mobile apps. You must now access your Healthy Emory Connect account using your Emory username and password. Please follow these steps to enable your mobile app to use your Emory username and password:
- Log out of the Virgin Pulse mobile app
- Close the mobile app
- Re-open the mobile app
- Enter the email address associated with your Healthy Emory Connect account in the username field
- Once redirected to the Emory Login page, you must use your Emory username and password
- Follow the mobile app set-up prompts, and your progress and points will update within the mobile app

Emory Executive Education Upcoming Courses
Emory Executive Education is the Goizueta Business School’s program for non-degree education for individuals and organizations. Several upcoming courses are being offered:
- Leading and Inspiring Change: on August 21-22, 2018: This course provides leaders, managers and change agents with models to better understand reactions to change, and the skills to navigate the conversations required to gain buy-in and support when adapting to new workplace conditions.
- Goizueta Executive Women’s Leadership Forum: on August 26-29, 2018: 3-day residential senior leadership program designed to provide women executives with leadership and strategy insights to lead themselves, their teams, and their organizations. Please note, admission is by application only.
- Strategy Visualization on August 28-29, 2018: In this two-day course, you will uncover a methodology for translating your strategy into a visual process by moving beyond design thinking.
- Finance and Accounting for Non-financial Managers on October 2-3, 2018: Deepen your understanding of financial statements, the sources of information they contain, and analysis techniques to interpret.
