Equifax Security Breach Information
As you may know, Emory contracts with Equifax for services through Equifax Workforce Solutions. Recently, there has been news of a security breach at Equifax. There are many different divisions of Equifax, and we have been informed that there is no evidence that the recent cybersecurity incident impacted Equifax Workforce Solutions which is used by Human Resources. New Visitor Parking Rates Effective September 1
Emory University and Emory Healthcare have approved an increase for visitor parking rates. The last visitor parking rate increase was in 2013.  The full daily rate remains unchanged. The increase went into effect on September 1, 2017 at all Emory parking locations. Learn more.

Finish Your Performance Evaluations before September 14!
Performance Evaluations should be finished up by the end of August, but if you have any lingering reviews to finish up, be sure to do so prior to the PeopleSoft Upgrade. The upgrade will take place mid-September and once the new system goes live, there will be changes to the Performance Management System. To avoid any issues, get your evaluations done!

Blomeyer 20th Anniversary
This September, Blomeyer Health Fitness Center is celebrating 20 incredible years at Emory! The Earle B. & Stephanie S. Blomeyer Health Fitness Center opened its doors September 2nd, 1997. The Blomeyer Health Fitness Center is a vital presence at Emory because of the vision and generosity of Mr. and Mrs. Blomeyer who believed that individuals should take responsibility for the prevention of illness through diet, exercise and stress reduction. Today, Blomeyer still carries on those same beliefs, taking pride in assisting members on the journey of becoming the healthiest they can be.

To celebrate 20 years at Emory, Blomeyer will be hosting two special open houses on Wednesday, September 20th - one from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and another from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.  All Emory employees and retirees are invited to attend one of these events.  The celebration will include facility tours, chair massages, games, refreshments, and special vendors throughout the day.  Please come join us for this wonderful celebration of 20 years at Emory!

The Emory WorkLife Resource Center’s workshop series, Finance Matters, is specifically designed to educate Emory employees on topics related to personal finances by fostering an understanding of money management principles. Partnering with Emory’s retirement vendors like Fidelity and SmartPath Financial this fall’s workshops will address a diverse range of personal finance topics such as dealing with basic budgeting, estate planning, understanding the principles of investing, and managing financial stress.
