Emory's Payroll Office, within the Finance Division, is responsible for processing the university's payroll, issuing earnings statements and W2s, and overseeing time and attendance.
HR's Compensation Department works directly with Emory's schools and units to develop a competitive, market based staff compensation program.
Faculty compensation is managed by each individual school.
Job descriptions are developed by HR's Compensation Department in partnership with schools and units. Each job description includes the job title, grade and exemption status.
Salary structures are updated annually for university staff. There are four salary structures: General, Information Technology, Clinical and Research Administration Services.
HR's Compensation Department offers a number of services to assist managers, HR leaders and HR Reps with their staff compensation decisions.
