You're Invited! EUEC Retirement Sessions May 2013
On Monday, May 20, 2013 the EUEC will host a Lunch Discussion on the topic of "Health Care Decisions near the End of Life." During the discussion, a list of questions will be addressed by Dr. Carl C. Hug, Professor Emeritus of Anesthesiology, Emory School of Medicine. The discussion will be held at The Luce Center in Room 130 from 11:30 to 1:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided for $7. Seating is limited so RSVP today!
If you cannot make the Lunch Discussion, on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. at the Goizueta Business School (Room 130), the EUEC will host the final installment of its annual Retirement Seminar Series. Attorney Heather Nadler, a local attorney specializing in Elder Law will discuss legal issues and Dr. Carl C. Hug, Professor Emeritus of Anesthesiology, Emory School of Medicine, will discuss medical directives.
The Emory University Emeritus College's Retirement Seminar Series is offered annually to those planning to retire. In 2012, the program was expanded to include "testimonials" from Emeritus College retirees, which has been well received. Our last Retirement Seminar & Panel was held on October 16, 2012. Both the seminar and the panel (Q&A) are now available for viewing online. Feel free to share with your colleagues or relatives.
