2020 Summer College Internship Program
Emory’s Summer College Internship program offers college students who are in the middle of their academic careers a unique opportunity to gain valuable, hands-on experience in the day-to-day operations of Emory University or Emory Healthcare. Designed to last ten weeks (June 1 – August 7, 2020), with an option for departments to extend it to twelve weeks (ending on August 21, 2020), each department will need to establish learning objectives for their selected intern and evaluate him/her twice during the program. Earn Double Points with the New Whil Programs on Healthy Emory Connect
Healthy Emory Connect has expanded its offering of “Whil” Programs for 2020. These digital resources available on the web platform and mobile app powered by VirginPulse help you improve your mental wellbeing, performance, relationships and sleep. From now through the end of February, you can earn double the points for completing Whil programs on Healthy Emory Connect. Points are used to earn medical plan incentives which helps you save money on medical costs.

Move More Challenge Is Back For 2020
The Move More Challenge is back this spring (March 23-May 3) and registration opens on Monday, March 2.  Participants will join teams of up to 10 people and all teams will work together as One Emory to unlock five stages and try to achieve 2.4 billion steps!  Participants will be able to use a variety of devices including Fitbit, Apple Watch, Garmin, or their smartphone.  Earn points and have a chance to win great prizes for your active participation!

Performance Management Updates

New Competencies for Leader Positions
A new competency model for performance management has been developed for all Emory University staff people leaders who have strategy, change management and related leadership oriented responsibilities (often, but not always at the Director-level or above).

Mid-Year Reviews Due March 2

• For many at Emory, the mid-year form for the FY20 cycle is due March 2. Those on the academic vs. fiscal calendar may have an earlier due date.
• If you have not completed your mid-year form, please do before April 15.
• On Wednesday, April 15 all forms will be advanced to the next form in the process: the year-end form. 

The Clifton School GA Pre-K and Open House
The Clifton School’s registration for the 2020-21 Lottery Funded Georgia Pre-K program is February 3-28, 2020.  Your child must be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2020 to participate in the lottery funded Georgia Pre-K program. A private lottery will take place on March 19, 2020. Families will be notified of acceptance on March 20, 2020. Read more.
