2014 Flu Vaccines
In order to be protected against seasonal influenza, you must get a flu shot each and every year.  The 2014-2015 vaccine will protect against three different flu virus strains: influenza A (H1N1) virus, influenza A (H3N2) virus, and influenza B virus. October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month
On average, nearly 20 people per minute are victims of physical violence by an intimate partner in the United States. One in 3 women and 1 in 4 men has experienced some form of physical violence by an intimate partner within their lifetime. The Emory IPV Working Group reminds you of this important issue and the resources that are available.

You are also invited to “Take Back the Night” with Emory faculty, staff and students on Monday, October 27 at 5:50 p.m. at the DUC Terraces. The rally is to bring awareness to about sexual assault and work toward ending sexual violence.

Video Interviewing
Emory Recruiting is pleased to announce a new service available for hiring managers - video interviewing!  We are partnering with Montage to offer this program as a pilot project through December 15, 2014. HR Toolkit Course Offered Online
The HR Toolkit provides an overview of the essential HR practices and procedures for staff with human resources responsibilities. The online curriculum consists of ten courses that cover each division of Central HR.  In order to complete the course and receive full credit on their transcript, participants are required to enroll and complete all ten sessions. These are set up as ten separate online courses so employees can complete each session at their leisure. Enrollment is through the ELMS System. Learn more.
