Flu Vaccinations
It’s time to get a flu shot. The 2015-2016 vaccine will protect against three different flu virus strains: influenza A (H1N1) virus, influenza A (H3N2) virus, and influenza B virus. In order to be protected against seasonal influenza, you must get a flu shot each and every year. Emory Faculty and staff who are on the Emory medical plan (and their covered dependents) can receive a free flu vaccine. Learn more. |

Recovery Support Series
The Faculty Staff Assistance Program (FSAP) is offering a series of free, confidential, interactive workshops that are open to Emory employees who are in active recovery from alcohol and other substances. Participation provides an opportunity to connect with fellow employees in recovery and strengthen relapse prevention skills throughout the year. The next workshop, Safeguard Your Recovery During the Holidays, will be held Friday, October 30, at 11:30am at FSAP. Learn more. |

Mandatory Title IX Training: Complete by Nov. 15
As a reminder to those who have not yet taken the Title X Training Course, this training is mandatory. Title IX training is an important and critical three year initiative specifically designed for Emory University. Over 77% of our faculty and 3389 staff members have completed the training. Please complete the training by November 15th. The training module will take approximately 45 minutes to complete. You may leave the course at any time and when you return, the course will open to the last page visited. Read more. |

Lunch and Learns: Master of Religion and Public Life
Candler School of Theology has launched its new Master of Religion and Public Life (MRPL) degree program, which explores the dynamics of faith in the public sphere. Opportunities to learn more about the MRPL will take place on October 28 and November 11 from noon to 1:00 pm in room 517 of the Rita Anne Rollins Building. The program is ideal for individuals in non-religious careers whose interests or work intersects with religion, the MRPL is a 30 credit-hour, residential program with a flexible curriculum and occasional evening classes to accommodate working professionals.
