Temporary Zones to Ease Transition to Tobacco-free Campus
As Emory prepares for the implementation of the new Tobacco-Free policy, 14 temporary smoking zones will take effect on January 1. Expect to see fewer smoking receptacles on campus, and more signage highlighting the change in policy. The temporary zones will be phased out next August.

Delta Airline Ticket Giveaway for the 2012 Emory Community Giving Program
To encourage giving to this campaign, the United Way is giving away a pair of Delta Airlines tickets! Any Emory employee who donates $200 or more between November 7 and November 30 will be entered into a drawing to win two Delta Airlines tickets (domestic travel only). Drawing will take place on December 5. The annual fall campaign for Emory Community Giving, which runs through December 31, raises funds for eligible nonprofit groups that address an array of health, human-service, community, and environmental needs.
