National Walking Day
Healthy Emory will join the American Heart Association in celebrating National Walking Day on Wednesday, April 6. All Emory Healthcare and Emory University employees are invited to participate in a 30-minute fun walk, guided by one of the Healthy Emory wellness champions. Employee Council Town Hall April 12th
The Emory Employee Council will hold its Annual Town hall on Tuesday, April 12, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm in the Winship Ballroom at the Dobbs University Center. Lunch is provided. HR’s Recruiting Department Announces New Appointments
Vicky Jones has been promoted to Manager of Emory Temporary Service. Vicky has over 20 years of recruiting experience in various industries including executive permanent placement as well as temporary staffing. She has been with Emory for almost 10 years, starting as a Senior Recruiting Specialist and then as a Search Consultant with the Emory Search Group. Raymond Goolsby has been promoted to a Manager of Recruiting. Raymond joined Emory in 2014 and has made considerable contributions in the area of IT/Technical Recruiting. He brings over 14 years in diversified Human Resources experience. |

Upcoming Workshop: Biofeedback for Stress Management
Are you curious about how biofeedback helps with stress management? This workshop will introduce participants to the basics of biofeedback – the use of electronic monitoring devices to help regulate breathing, heart rate, blood pressure and temperature. Participants will be educated on the relationship between physical symptoms and overall experience of stress, and will be guided through techniques to monitor and change their body’s responses. Participants who attend will be able to schedule further opportunities to practice with the biofeedback equipment. Session is limited to 10.
