  • OIM drives improvement in the performance of Emory's occupational initiatives and programs.
  • OIM establishes goals, which connect our occupational health initiatives to divisional and corporate missions and values.

OIM believes that a safe working environment contributes to a healthy and productive workforce, all of which are critical to Emory's health and safety commitment.

OIM provides direct access to comprehensive, cost-effective quality care for employees with a primary focus on occupational injuries, illnesses and exposures that arise out of, and in the course of, employment.

Evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation and proactive case management of workplace injuries are provided by certified and experienced health experts committed to the delivery of the highest quality care while optimizing an injured employee's recovery potential.

OIM also strives to improve and expand employee access to medical care services for non-work related, non-acute illness or injuries through the provision of an Express Care Clinic staffed by board certified Advanced Practice Practitioners.
