Emergency Back-up Care

Sign up for emergency back-up care so your child care or adult care needs are covered when your regular arrangements fall through.

Program Details

The Back-Up Care Advantage Program is offered through a partnership with Bright Horizons. Open to Medical House Staff members, this program provides emergency back-up care for times when your regular caregiving arrangements fall through.

In these situations, Bright Horizons will arrange for temporary care, either at a high-quality child care center or with a fully screened and credentialed in-home caregiver.

  • Care is available for infants through the elderly.
  • It is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
  • It is nationwide.
  • The cost is partially subsidized by Graduate Medical Education to make it more affordable.
