Leaders at Emory play a critical role in advancing the university's mission and shaping its future. To ensure our leaders are prepared for the challenges that lie ahead, we offer several development programs for every stage of leadership.
An orientation program for those who are new to a leadership role at Emory, whether recently hired or internally promoted into a management position. It includes an online module component and a two-day, in-person session.
A six-month program for Emory employees who have been identified as high-potential and who may soon transition into a people manager role.
A seven-month program designed for those who have been hired or recently promoted into a people management role. It is also for those who have experience in a manager role but have not had formal management training.
A seven-month program designed to help prepare Emory's mid-level leaders for more strategic roles within the university.
A nine-month program for the university's senior leaders, conducted in collaboration with Emory's Goizueta School of Business.
A six-month program designed to provide people managers with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively manage change and enhance the acceptance and success of change efforts.
An Office of the Provost initiative managed by the Center for Faculty Development and Excellence (CFDE), provides specialized training and development for the next generation of academic leaders.
