Emory University Hospital Midtown

In addition to serving faculty and resident physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in the Emory School of Medicine, FSAP provides a variety of services to the community providers affiliated with Emory University Hospital Midtown (EUHM).

Community providers working in clinical sites that are affiliated with academic medical centers encounter unique challenges. FSAP provides a variety of free, confidential services designed to enhance the personal well-being and professional growth of community physicians and APPs.

A comprehensive overview of services, and directions for seeking further information or scheduling an appointment can be found on the Faculty Physicians webpage or the FSAP Physician Services Overview.

Atlanta Public Schools (APS)

FSAP offers specialized, urgent behavioral health response services to immediately assist Atlanta Public Schools (APS) staff with severe issues (e.g., thoughts of suicide, experiencing traumatic deaths, intimate partner violence) that disrupt their emotional well-being and mental health.

The available service hours are Mondays through Fridays from 7:00 am - 5:00 pm. If urgent behavioral health needs arise during these times, APS employees may contact Emory FSAP by calling 404-727-WELL (9355) and a licensed mental health clinician will assist them.

The APS employee will be scheduled for an assessment with a licensed FSAP clinician for urgent response, intervention, and referral to the appropriate resources for further assistance.

Assessments may be conducted via telehealth using a HIPAA-compliant Zoom or telephonic session.

The Emory FSAP clinician will provide a follow up contact with the employee to ensure connection with the referral resource(s) and problem resolution.
