Violence in the Workplace
The issue of workplace violence is a serious one for all employers. For this reason, the Office of Critical Event Preparedness and Response (CEPAR), Human Resources, and the Emory Police Department have partnered to launch an online training program.
About the Training
There are two trainings: One is for Managers (for those with direct reports) and one is for non-managers (for those without direct reports).
Manager Course
If you are a manager (have direct reports), you are required to take the course Violence in the Workplace (Manager). Here are the steps:
- Log into Peoplesoft with your Emory NetID and password
- Click on the Learning Management – Brainier tile
- Search for the course title: Violence in the Workplace, Manager
Non-Manager Course
If you are in a non-managerial role (no direct reports), you are required to take the course Violence in the Workplace for Staff and Faculty. Here are the steps:
- Log into Peoplesoft with your Emory NetID and password
- Click on the Learning Management – Brainier tile
- Search for the course title: Violence in the Workplace for Staff and Faculty
