Example: Goal: For the 30 days, I will add at least 1 serving of fruit to my breakfast and 2 servings of vegetables to my lunch or dinner 5 days per week, prepping them ahead of time so they’re easy to grab.

Healthy Emory Connect: Nutrition

Make balanced nutrition a priority and book your well-being during the annual nutrition campaign. Proper nutrition is more than just eating well, it’s a powerful tool for improving overall health and preventing disease. A healthy eating pattern can help manage weight, lower the risk of chronic conditions, like heart disease and diabetes, and even reduce the risk of certain cancers. It also supports energy, mood, and long-term well-being. 

During the Fuel to Flourish Challenge, focus on building meals that include a variety of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, healthy fats, and plant or lean animal protein. Limit foods and beverages high in added sugars, saturated fat, and sodium. Record your meal quality using Healthy Emory Connect (Sharecare) and earn a medical plan well-being incentive or reward

About this Campaign

Who is eligible?

Nutrition is open to all benefits-eligible employees, as well as spouses and Pre-65 retirees on an Emory medical plan.

When is it?

Nutrition takes place from February 1 – March 31, 2026. The Fuel to Flourish challenge starts March 1.

What are the activities?

To earn your medical plan well-being incentive or be eligible for a reward, you must complete the Nourish & Reflect Challenge, read 2 articles and watch 2 videos. You can access these activities using Healthy Emory Connect (Sharecare). 

Important: Both the Fuel to Flourish Challenge and all content must be completed to earn your incentive or reward.

Complete the Fuel to Flourish Challenge (March 1 - March 31) 

Track your meals for at least 21 days during the challenge. Focus on balanced nutrition with fruits, vegetables, whole grains, healthy fats, and lean protein. Limit added sugars, saturated fat, and sodium. Utilize the activities to assist you Log your progress in Sharecare and sync regularly for accurate tracking.

How to Participate

Educate: Review the Required Content (February 1 - March 31)

  1. Create an account or sign into healthyemory.sharecare.com
  2. Select Achieve > Rewards > Healthy Emory Connect, then select the nutrition tile
  3. Select and review each of the articles, videos, and slideshows in their entirety

Activate: Complete Fuel to Flourish Challenge (March 1 - March 31)

  1. Create an account, sign into healthyemory.sharecare.com, or open your Sharecare app
  2. Select Achieve > Challenges > Fuel to Flourish challenge
  3. Select Join and start tracking your challenge activity
  4. Track your meals and progress for at least 21 days

Tracking your Progress

  1. Sign into healthyemory.sharecare.comon your web browser or open your Healthy Emory Connect (Sharecare) app
  2. Go to Achieve > Rewards > Healthy Emory Connect

Any completed activities will appear under the "Completed activities" heading and will have a green checkmark next to them.

Important: Both the Fuel to Flourish Challenge and all content must be completed to earn your incentive or reward.

Incentives and Rewards

Emory Medical Plan Enrollees

If you're enrolled in an Emory medical plan, you can earn a $100 medical plan well-being incentive by completing the Fuel to Flourish Challenge and reviewing all the content.

Non-Emory Medical Plan users

If you are not enrolled in an Emory medical plan, complete the Fuel to Flourish Challenge and review all the content to earn a raffle entry for a chance to win rewards.
