What's Available

Women’s Pelvic Health Program at Hinge Health

One in four women has a pelvic floor disorder, but most don't receive treatment due to a lack of awareness, stigma, and inadequate access to pelvic floor physical therapists. Therefore, the average time it takes for them to receive care for certain conditions is more than six years.

Hinge Health's Pelvic Health pathway supports women at all stages of life - from early adulthood to after menopause - providing clinical care for the full continuum of pelvic floor disorders. Members address pelvic pain and other symptoms through tailored exercise therapy, robust educational content, a personalized clinical approach, and the support of a care team composed of pelvic health physical therapists, board-certified women's health coaches, and urogynecologist support for care escalations.

Members' care is personalized around one of four pelvic floor needs:

  • Pregnancy and postpartum: dynamically tailored to the individual's week of gestation, addressing common musculoskeletal (MSK) symptoms associated with prenatal and postpartum life stages
  • Bladder control: combining exercise therapy and brain science to alleviate urge incontinence
  • Pelvic pain: focusing on the mind-body connection to relax and control pelvic muscles to relieve symptoms such as pain with intercourse and chronic pelvic pain
  • Pelvic strength: strengthening pelvic muscles to improve conditions such as prolapse and urinary incontinence
