Wellness Champions
Healthy Emory's large network of wellness champions serve their individual departments and schools, helping to promote a healthy lifestyle to their co-workers and colleagues.
About this Network
If you have a question or want to learn more about wellness opportunities in your department, your Wellness Champion is the first person to ask! They support the Healthy Emory team in launching, marketing, and sustaining new and existing wellness programming, while motivating and encouraging their colleagues to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
The responsibilities of a wellness champion include:
- Serving as a champion for a minimum of one year
- Submitting a quarterly report detailing wellness initiatives in your department/division
- Attending 2-3 in-person meetings per year (remote Champions exempt).
- Participating in a monthly conference call
- Participating in at least two programs/events annually
- Committing to share communications about current wellness initiatives
Become a Wellness Champion
Here are the steps you can take to become a Wellness Champion:
- Obtain supervisor approval and have your leader complete this form
- Complete a Wellness Champion application
- Attend a Wellness Champion orientation. We host two orientations each month.
