Throughout my career at Emory, I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to several departments and roles. I began as a Human Resources Receptionist, where I handled a range of administrative tasks and supported HR functions. Following that, I transitioned to a Billing Specialist role, where I managed billing operations and ensured accurate financial documentation. Each position provided unique challenges and learning experiences, allowing me to develop a broad skill set.

One of the most notable changes has been the transformation of the campus itself. The development of new buildings and enhancements to existing facilities have significantly improved the campus environment, making it more modern and functional. It’s been exciting to witness these physical changes, reflecting the university’s growth and progress.
What do you miss from “back in the day”?
I miss Emory Night at Six Flags. It was a fantastic tradition that allowed us to enjoy a fun, relaxing evening at the amusement park with our colleagues. It was a great way to unwind and build camaraderie outside of the work environment.
