Tell us a little about the work you've done at Emory throughout your career.
I began my Emory career in October of 1993 at Houston Mill House as a Special Events Manager. I was there for over 10 years until I was recruited by Jimmy Powell in 2003 for the Emory Grounds Department as a crew leader. I was a crew lead for 5 years until I was promoted to Supervisor, my current position.
What are some of your favorite memories of your time at Emory?
Throughout the years my favorite memories have been the friendships I have made within my department and throughout the University.
What are some of the most significant changes you have witnessed over the course of your career?
Watching the improved landscape maintenance practices evolve over the years and the ever growing and changing of our campus.
Is there anything you miss from "back in the day"?
The simplicity of coming to work and doing my job before the technology boom exploded!
What do you hope for the future of Emory?
Nothing but the best....continued growth in education and healthcare!

I have truly enjoyed my time here thus far and am so thankful that I found such a wonderful place to work!
