Tell us a little about the work you've done at Emory throughout your career.

I've worked for Emory for 25 years, in the Data center / Network Operations center.

What are some of your favorite memories of your time at Emory?

My favorite memories include the comradery with my co-workers through the years, and all the fun times we have had together. Some of those fun times were at the Christmas parties, IT summer parties, and when we were snowed in on campus for 4 days a few times.

What are some of the most significant changes you have witnessed over the course of your career?

The reduction of printing. When I started at Emory, our department was printing over 100 cases of paper and checks a month, for both University and Healthcare. Now we only print a small number of checks. Emory recycling garbage, who knew this would be a thing.

Is there anything you miss from "back in the day"?

I miss having less traffic on my hour-long commute. Emory was more employee oriented back in the day.

What do you hope for the future of Emory?

I hope for continued success and growth.
