When you are ready to start your search for the next candidate to join your department, Emory's Recruiting staff is available to help you through every step of the recruiting process.
The Recruitment Process
At Emory, there are three recruitment avenues:
- Open (Staff) Recruitment
- Emory Temporary Services
- Faculty/Post Doc Recruitment
If you are looking for your next staff member (including departmental temps), then you have come to the right place.
Once you have identified the need to hire a new staff member, you are ready to create a Requisition in Emory’s Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS). View instructions for creating a requisition.
Posting your position online is required because it allows Emory to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
Once your requisition is created and has been approved through the proper channels in your department, your Recruiter will schedule an intake call with you to confirm the minimum qualifications, your additional preferred skills and to discuss the next steps of the process.
Next, your job will be posted and will automatically aggregate out to multiple job boards, search engines, diversity sites and others to attract a diverse and qualified candidate pool.
